Summary of Qualifications

Co-Founder, Progressive Network Solutions

(January 2000 – January 2013)

 

-Led every stage of company incorporation and secured the first several contract wins.

-Responsible for a full spectrum of operational roles and responsibilities for the company.

-Responsible for project management support for programs supporting the US Warfighter in Iraq and Afghanistan, US Department of State with Iraq Public Polling requirements, and pre-deployment training for the Marine Corps.

-Won contracts with the Department of State; Army Information Security Command (INSCOM); Marine Corps Civil Affairs; Counter-Intelligence Field Activity; Health & Human Services; Department of Transportation; Department of Labor; and the Department of Interior.

-Built a relationship that lead to several prime contract awards with the Marine Corps Civil Affairs Group (at Quantico, VA).

-Served as the primary individual responsible for contract vehicle awards including GSA 8(a) STARS, GSA 70, Alliant, and OPTARRS II. Responsible for daily administration and maintenance of the following contracts: Iraqi Advisor Task Force (IQATF); INSCOM Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan (OEF-A); Dept of Defense Language Interpretation & Translation Enterprises (DLITE); and State Department Iraqi Public Opinion Polling.

- Managed an internal staff consisting of finance, payroll, and contract specialists; sales & marketing leads; and geographically-dispersed recruiting managers tasked with the demands of staffing PNS overseas contracts in Iraq and Afghanistan to support the US Warfighter in the combat theater. 

-Performed the role of Facility Security Officer (FSO) since the company’s inception.  Performed all tasks required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Facility Clearance (FCL) for PNS as well as maintaining a strong ongoing security infrastructure.

-Provided training in a supervisory role for internal security staff tasked with performing daily security tasks.

(June 2003 – December 2004)

-Windows Active Directory and Exchange Server Architect for the Federal Highway nationwide infrastructure consisting of over 100 servers.

-Delivered top-tier troubleshooting to resolve complex performance and functionality issues on local and nationwide Windows 2000/2003 domain controller servers and Exchange Servers.

- Implemented an Exchange Public Folder hierarchy and assisted with creating and maintaining agency-wide policies for public folder use.

-Provided leadership and technical engineering expertise on a large-scale GroupWise 6.0 to Exchange 2000 migration project. 

-Worked closely with Microsoft engineers on initiative to enable free/busy calendar information to propagate across multiple messaging systems.

-Created a detailed Exchange 2000 architecture.

-Implemented a Windows 2000 architecture and detailed migration plan for moving the organization from Novell NDS to Windows 2000 Active Directory.

-Updated the American Red Cross DNS servers, Mail Exchanger records and redirected incoming SMTP traffic
